Coffee farmers in Kilenso Mokonisa harvest coffee annually from their small garden plots. After delivering their coffee cherries to the washing station, they labor together to sun dry the coffee on raised beds, carefully turning and aerating the fruit as it ripens. The coffee seed absorbs fruit sugars during this process, imparting incredible sweetness to the cup.
We roast Kilenso to maximize the natural berry aromas while preserving the delicate floral notes that keep the cup lively.
